Broadway Stages’ Gina Argento and Kingsborough Community College (KCC) have partnered up to create two internship positions for the benefit of student education in addition to our recent Broadway Stages Scholarship. The internship opportunities provided by Broadway Stages were created through Kingsborough CXM Academy, an original program that places KCC students within partnering corporations, to provide current KCC students with real-world business training.
Broadway Stages is offering two KCC exclusive internships for Administrative and Billing positions. Interns will be able to join the select individuals that run a full film service production company and learn about the inner workings of the film industry. The main purpose of the internship is to encourage interns to overcome problem-solving challenges in their positions and prepare them for individual professional and personal success.
Internship opportunities like these allow Broadway Stages to teach and train students with a more hands on approach that has never been done in the NYC film industry before. Broadway Stages have long supported educational programs via donations with our partners at Futures in Education, PS111, Saint Ignatius Loyal School and many more, but are excited to take on a new more hands on approach with KCC students.
In addition, selected students will also enjoy the experience of working inside one of New York’s premier full service film and production company! This will include getting to visit live sets and some behind-the-scenes exclusives to some of the biggest hits on TV including shows like Mr. Robot, Blue Bloods, and more!
