Broadway Stages Gina Argento commits to educational Youth Development at YMCA!

Gina Argento wants journalism to succeed at YMCA!

The Flushing YMCA at JHS 189 is a community based organization that is focused on cultivating experiences for youth development and education. The YMCA endorses a Journalism Program to encourage student participants to create and publish an annual YMCA magazine. As part of the Journalism Program, participants enjoy a Broadway Show as part of their experience to mimic real life journalism with this year’s review set for the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This year’s budget was reduced an funding was needed to purchase the ticket and secure transportation of the event.

To help sustain the educational event and experience for the students, Gina Argento of Broadway Stages stepped to fund the remainder of the needed funds for YMCA. She hopes her donation will allow students to gain insight in the world of journalism and motivate students to step into the world of journalism. Join Gina Argento and  Broadway Stages in supporting a future of writers! #GoGina
