Broadway Stages takes part in Film and TV Postproduction industry to help New York City

The New York State Film and TV tax credits have had a tremendous positive effects on the local New York City economy. Postproduction work in New York City have increased to 430 companies, nearly doubling the number in 2004, from 250 firms. The film industry has not only added jobs, but added commerce back to local New York Communities.  In fact, HR&A Advisors, concluded in a study that postproduction has made 23,310 jobs available and provided $1.87 billion in income for New Yorkers.

Broadway Stages and Gina Argento, President of Broadway Stages, is thankful for the New York State Film and TV tax credits because in return we are able to help out the New York City Community and  our Brooklyn Communities.
