The New York City Audubon is an organization committed to preserving and caring for native wild birds and habitats. The NYC Audubon protects over 350 species of birds that live or pass through NYC every year, which totals almost a third of all bird species in North America! In order for NYC Audubon to operate smoothly, it has approximately 10,000 members, many of whom are volunteers from across all five boroughs of New York. NYC Audubon relies on communal participation to ensure that the wild birds and habitats in NYC are protected.
Gina Argento, President of Broadway Stages, agrees that the conservation of NYC wild life is an important factor in the preservation of the natural environment. As a supporter to the NYC Audubon Fall Roost, Gina aspires to gain other contributors and supporters to safeguard the native bird species and animals. As a member of the Host Committee and supporter of the NYC Audubon Fall Roost, Gina hopes that her contributions will positively affect the viability of birds in NYC. #GoGina
