Established in 1990, the Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project (BBAVLP) has helped solve civil legal issues by protecting the fundamental rights of various individuals in NYC. The BBAVLP has provided legal assistance for thousands of Brooklyn residents, helping individuals and families with family law, elder law, consumer law, guardianship, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals(DACA) issues. Volunteers of the projects range from law students to experienced attorneys, whom are all committed to upholding their duties to protect the people of Brooklyn.
As a sponsor of the Volunteer Lawyers Project Annual Gala, Gina Argento, President of Broadway Stages, has helped support various BBAVLP programs needed to educate and train new volunteers. Gina’s donations will also contribute to the necessary funds needed to provide legal assistance for the Brooklyn people. Gina hopes her contributions will help BBAVLP continue to preserve the fundamental rights of Brooklyn families and individuals. #GoGina
