The Ronald McDonald House of New York (RMHNY) is a charity organization that helps temporarily house pediatric patients and their families in close proximity to major cancer treatment centers. Located on East 73rd Street, the RMHNY is a vital housing program that is able to accommodate up to 84 families at a time. The RMHNY offers amenities such as wellness programs, art, music, recreational activities, and birthday parties to provide a supportive and encouraging environment for pediatric care.
Gina Argento, President of Broadway Stages believes that pediatric patients and their families should receive optimal residency locations in New York City. By donating to the Annual Kids Charity Fun Run in Central Park, presented by RMHNY, Gina Argento wishes to lessen the financial burden of pediatric families. With her donations, Argento hopes that the families are not only conveniently placed but drawn in by RMHNY’S open arms.
