Broadway Stages at the YMCA’s Spirit of Community Service Awards Dinner!

The Broadway Stages family joined The Greenpoint YMCA in the YMCA’s winter Spirit of Community Service Awards Dinner!

The Spirit of Community Service Awards Dinner is a signature event to raise funds to directly support the Greenpoint YMCA programs . The dinner event took place at Giando on the Water located at 412 Kent Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211.

The highlight of the memorable night began with the playful rendition of R Kelly’s The World’s Greatest performed by young YMCA members, all children ages 6 and under who rehearsed for months for the event. The joyful nature and innocent performance of the children reflected YMCA’s commitment to promote positive programs that build spirit, mind, and body.

In honor of the charitable night, the Spirit of Community Service Awards Dinner included a silent auction event that afforded sponsors the opportunity to purchase donated items where proceeds of the purchases made at the auction would be used to create new and fund existing YMCA programs for the children of NYC. As a committed YMCA contributor, Broadway Stages made a separate donation to and is a Title Sponsor of the Greenpoint YMCA. In addition, members of the Broadway Stages family including Gina Argento, President of Broadway Stages, Anthony Fong, General Counsel of Broadway Stages, James Park, Monica Holowacz, and Anthony Tony Argento successfully bid on and won multiple items from the silent auction event.

As a Title Sponsor to YMCA, Broadway Stages would like to see YMCA continue to provide the necessary support and encouragement in the development of young children as it has demonstrated tonight. Broadway Stages considers it is our responsibility to help YMCA accomplish its mission to help child development as often as possible.

We would like to thank the YMCA for inviting the Broadway Stages family for such an unforgettable night! Broadway Stages will continue to support the children of NYC and the YMCA mission!

Broadway Stages would also like to thank Gina Argento, President of Broadway Stages, to allow us to participate in the wonderful cause to help NYC children.
