#GoGina at Kingsborough STEM lab

The STEM lab program offered at Kingsborough Community College (KCC) selects 15 students who demonstrate passionate interest in the STEM field and place them in an immersive hands on summer program to further develop their education understanding of Science, Math, Engineering, and Technology(STEM). The STEM program is targeted at 15 incoming freshman students to explore multiple educational interests tailored to student interests and individual needs. KCC believes that the hands-on based learning of the STEM program “intends to awaken an interest and help it grow into an appetite for learning, ultimately providing a great starting point for those choosing careers in STEM. KCC’s commitment student development and student education by its STEM program is seen as an essential educational institution for leading youths in careers that will contribute to scientific advances to improve the New York community.

Gina Argento, President of Broadway Stages and a Trustee to KCC, believes that”Kingsborough students are young, bright, and hungry for the chance to pursue their dreams.” As a financial contributor to KCC’s  STEM lab, Gina Argento has helped the construction of the STEM lab and helped the expansion of STEM based education at KCC. Gina Argento believes the STEM  program will develop higher standards of scientific learning and make available more educational resources for KCC students by sponsoring the STEM lab. Gina Argento and Broadway Stages will continue to support scientific advancement for education in New York and continue to KCC’s commitment to student STEM education.
